Opening of our new plant in North Macedonia
On 31 October 2019, we celebrated the official opening of our newly established branch in North Macedonia near Skopje. After a construction period of only 9 months, this new location strengthens Baumer's position in the European market. The Skopje region has existing, highly qualified personnel and allows us to deliver quickly to our customers throughout Europe.
The employees at the new location will find excellent working conditions, a modern and air-conditioned building, clean and quiet workplaces, their own canteen and varied, interesting activities.
In the first construction phase, we concentrate on production and production engineering as well as CNC specialists. Further expansion is planned for the establishment of a product development team with hardware and software engineers as well as IT specialists. The start was made with experienced local employees and in the future we will expand further by training motivated young engineers and skilled workers.
On a site area of 19,000 m², the new plant with 4000 m², of which 2,500 m² is production space and 600 m² is pure development and administration space, offers sufficient space to realize future growth.
